Ultimate Hosting — Service Agreement

I’m not going to make you wade through a bunch of legalese, because I don’t like reading that stuff and certainly don’t want to write it. By signing up for the “Ultimate Hosting” plan with me, you agree to the following terms:

1. We will both interact honestly and with integrity.

If we both agree to communicate openly and honestly, most problems will be avoided before they can begin! I pride myself on great customer service and swift communication. And if you need something…anything…just ask! I will do my best to help you out.

2. Your method of payment will automatically be charged on the same day each month.

So if you sign up for my services on the seventeenth, you will be charged every month on the seventeenth. If you sign up on the fifth, you will be charged every month on the fifth.

I use Paypal to handle the monthly hosting service payments, but don’t worry if you don’t have a Paypal account; no pre-existing Paypal account is necessary! If you don’t want to or can’t use Paypal, you may also pay through AlertPay.

If your automatic monthly payment doesn’t go through due to an account problem on your end (insufficient funds, credit limit maxed out, etc.), I will contact you to set up an alternate form of payment. If an alternate payment is not made within thirty days, your site will be “turned off” (unavailable) until payment is made.

3. Your site will be set up in two to four weeks.

Assuming you want a custom site design (which comes free with this plan), it will take two to four weeks to finish the custom design and get your site set up. If you wish to use one of the standard designs instead of a custom design (see FAQ #2), then your site can be set up within a week.

4. You may cancel your hosting service at any time.

If you’re dissatisfied with your hosting service at any time, you may cancel immediately; there’s no waiting or notification period required. If you cancel within seven days after your last monthly renewal is charged, you may request a refund of that last monthly renewal fee.

Conversely, if I need to cancel your hosting service for any reason, I will give you a thirty day notice, so you have time to make other hosting arrangements. I’m not really sure why I would need to do this, but if some unusual circumstances come up which make this necessary, you won’t be left high and dry without a website!

5. I will update your site content for you, at any time.

Send your content or updates to me throughout the month; I’ll update your site whenever you wish. I will make any number of content updates and additions, at any time of the month.

6. These terms may change in the future

They probably won’t change significantly, but if they change at all, I will notify you of the changes.
